So, what’s new in Turbo 2.0? How do you get the latest version? Find that out and more below. We recommend referring to your app's documentation or contacting the app developer if you are not sure, or have questions about your third party apps.Īdditionally, for any customization requests that fall outside of a theme developers scope of support, it is common for them to encourage you to reach out to the original developers who made the change, or engage the assistance of a third party developer. It’s finally here - Turbo 2.0 with sections! This is the first major update to our latest and greatest Shopify theme, Turbo. Some apps and customizations might not be compatible with Online Store 2.0 themes. Not to worry - here is a little context to better explain why your third party customizations may not have all been brought over from your vintage theme to an updated Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme.Īlthough Theme Updater Plus does have the ability to transfer over customized code, customizing code can still result in some issues, and more complex customizations will need to be manually transferred over to the updated theme file. It looks like you may have left a review of a theme on our Theme Updater Plus app listing! Out of the Sandbox stepped up, gave us clear instruction, and solved the problem for us, although the error was with another app.Ĭonclusion: We are happy with both the products and support offered by Out of the Sandbox, and a big thanks to Euwi! We was sent in all direction, everyone pointing towards another. We had a serious problem with a 3rd party app that was not compatible with the theme. If we need help, the support from Out of the Sandbox has allways been great. We have updated the Turbo-Portland theme from Shopify to the new Shopify 2.0 theme with no problems, using Theme Updater Plus. In my opinion the cost of both the plans are easy to justify, if you run a business with revenue. Please note their app have two price points, one with support within 3 days, and one with priority support. If some code will not be transferred, we are notified of that in the app. When using this, all changes we have made are included into the new updated version. We have a website with many 3rd party apps, and a 3rd party Theme Editor. However, the themes from Out of the Sandbox offers a Automatic Theme Updater. You need then to download the newest theme, and do all the customization once again (this can take much time / have a high cost). Be aware of that many 3rd Party Themes does not offer Automatic Theme Updates.
